How to play

Open Today to see the day’s themed grid. Drag from the first letter of a word to its last letter, then release. Words can run across, down or diagonally, forwards or backwards. Found words get a ribbon on the board and a checkmark in the list. Find them all to complete the grid.

The timer starts with your first selection, not when you open the app. Accuracy is the share of your selections that found a word.

With VoiceOver, select a word’s first letter, then its last letter.

Questions

When does the next grid arrive?

After midnight, local time. The new grid loads the next time you open the app, so a grid you’re in the middle of is never interrupted.

How does my streak work?

Complete the grid on consecutive days to grow your streak. Miss a day and it starts again. Your longest streak is kept in Stats.

Why don’t my iPhone and iPad match?

Sync uses iCloud. Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on, and give them a minute online to catch up.

I see “Update Required”. What do I do?

Your copy of the app doesn’t have puzzles for today’s date yet. Update WordGrid365 from the App Store. Your saved progress stays.

Why don’t I see Game Center leaderboards?

Game Center is optional. Check that you’re signed in under iOS Settings → Game Center, then open the leaderboards from Stats.

Can I turn off the sounds?

Yes. Settings has switches for Sound Effects and Haptics. Sounds also follow your device’s silent mode.

Which version do I have?

Scroll to the bottom of Settings. The version number is shown there.

Reporting a bug

Please include the app version from the bottom of Settings, your device model, your iOS version, the date and theme of the grid, and what happened. A screenshot helps a lot.
